To help Newfoundlanders and Labradorians sit less and move more, the Government of NL and ParticipACTION have partnered up, with the support of Recreation NL, to develop educational resources that encourage and motivate people to be more physically active. Available now is an Older Adult Physical Activity Toolkit, a Teen Toolkit, and the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for the Early Years (0-4).

The deadline dates for the Coalition Community Grant Program are February 1 and September 30 annually. The criteria and forms are posted under Coalition Funding.   Application is now a fillable form.  Please note: If you are using the fillable form, you must fax, mail or scan and email, the completed signature page. Applications will not be accepted without required signatures.

Eastern Health’s Healthy Living A to Z pages cover more than 100 health topics from active living to birth control, bullying to healthy eating, child development to second-hand smoke and much more!
